FAQ
Do I Need To Provide Artwork?
You don’t have to provide artwork, although it would never hurt.
If you are wanting to get a text-only sign made up that is very easy for us to do without any reference.
You can send us links to similar signs and a description of the sign if that’s easier.
It’s possible if we need to do any detailed level of artwork this will increase the quote price due to labour involved on our end.
How Should I Provide Artwork?
We will accept anything really, if we need to recreate the artwork though this will incur an extra fee.
To avoid this, the perfect scenario would be for you to provide a vector version of your artwork.
This means your artwork would be in SVG, EPS, AI.
Alternatively your artwork can be provided in a flat form (JPG, PNG, PDF), although it must be of a very high resolution to ensure quality.
Minimum resolution varies between sign sizes which is why it’s best to provide us with a vector format.
If it’s a flat image, aim for at least a minimum width/height of 2400px.
What Size Does My Artwork Need To Be?
If you provide a vector format image then size is not an issue as we can scale it up on our end.
If you are providing a flat image, aim for at least a minimum height/width of 2400px.
How Long Does It Take?
Once the artwork has been finalised 90% of our signs are produced within the following 24 hours (with the exception of weekends).
This may vary depending on seasonal fluctuation but 24 hours is a good estimate.
Once they have shipped it’s typically 1-3 business days to most major cities.
Will I Get To Review My Sign Before It Goes To Production?
Yes, we will send you our final mockup before it goes to production.
You will need to approve this sign before it goes to production.
What Materials / Sizes Do You Print On?
Currently we only print on 1.5mm thick class 2 reflective aluminium plates (ideal for safety sign purposes).
These are available in preset sizes of:
- 300mm x 225mm
- 450mm x 300mm
- 600mm x 450mm
- 900mm x 600mm
